To All the Cursillistas: De Colores! God, in his infinite love and care for his church, gives his graces and charismas to men and women in our midst who unfold for us his treasures. Cursillo has been an incredible gift to the universal church throughout the world, and I have experienced the benefit of it in my personal life since my childhood in mexico where my parents where deeply committed with the movement for many, many years with great joy. The Archdiocese of Seattle has enjoyed the wonderful Cursillo charisma for many years now and hundreds of families have been blessed with authentic endless peace; I pray the blessed Virgin Mary will give you the strength and docility to keep on ministering in our Archdiocese of Seattle for many years to come. On March 15 and 16 we will have the Cursillo Regional Meeting (bilingual english and spanish). It will be held at: St. Pius X Parish Friday, March 15th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm All Cursillistas are invited to come and join. The main topic will be Pre-Cursillo. We will learn how to sponsor and mentor a new Cursillista who we believe could eventually become a strong leader in the movement. De Colores! ++++++++++ en español: El 15 y 16 de marzo del 2013 tendremos la Reunión Regional de Cursillo (bilingüe inglés y español). Se llevará acabo en, Iglesia de San Pio X Viernes, 15 de marzo de 7:00pm a 10:00pm Todos los Cursillistas estan invitados a asistir. El tema principal será Pre-Cursillo. Dear Brother and Sister in Christ, Happy St. Joseph's Day! The peace and grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. I greet you with happiness, wishing you to be well and that this Lenten season will continue our conversion, trying to be the apostles that Jesus Christ wants us to be. Our Seattle Archdiocese Cursillo Movement continues to be blessed by the support of our clergy. Rev. Jim Picton Pastor of St Madeleine Sophie Parish, is our English Spiritual Director; Deacon Anselmo Pardo is our Spanish Spiritual Director, and Auxiliary Bishop Eusebio Elizondo is National Episcopal Advisor for Cursillo. On March 15th and 16th we will have the Cursillo Regional Meeting at St. Pius X Parish in Mountlake Terrace WA, you are invited to come and join. The main topic will be Pre-Cursillo. We will learn how to sponsor and mentor a new Cursillista who we believe could eventually become a strong leader in the movement. You can find more information on the website www.seattlecursillo.org Our movement solicits the participation of a new generation of Cursillistas at our School of Leaders (SOL) to help advance the work of Cursillo in our Archdiocese. We ask you to prayerfully consider sharing your time and talents at our SOL to help us strengthen and re-energize our movement. We are extremely grateful and humbled by your responses to our 2012 letter which raised $ 8,265.00 and helped support Seattle Cursillo events throughout the year. Because of the cost of close to $ 4,000.00 per weekend we may need to raise our suggested fee to $130.00 per candidate or team member. Please send your donation to the address below.
