Group Reunion

Definition

On the Cursillo Weekend we discover that it is possible to live Christianity in the world to the fullest degree by means of the Cursillo method. This method proposes that we discover a small group of friends with whom we can share the lives we individually lead as Christians. The basic duty then after leaving the Cursillo must be to find such a group of friends.

We must, of course, define what we mean by the term Group Reunion. We can define the reunion as individuals coming together and engaging in the sharing process. This reunion provides the opportunity to create friendship. Indeed the reunion process of the Postcursillo is the factor through which friendship is discovered, achieved, realized, deepened and sustained within the group. The deepest form of living together is friendship, and when that friendship is raised to the sanctifying level by means of grace, we have the best way possible to achieve Christian community.

Opening Prayer
